If I read this correctly, she is in issue #2 of the magazine, which, by he description, appears to omething quite superior to som ordinary magazine of the quality of something like Playboy.
Sounds like it might be an interesting mag. Only problem is you have to order from England. I don't know what 29 pounds equates to in U.S. dolaars, but then you have to pay whatever the shipping might be. So, if you get one, let us know how much it is. If it's too far off the scale, I could see myself getting a copy. Remember,it's issue two you want, if I read correctly.
Total crap. I was going to order. It said shipping was 15 pounds to the U.S.. I thought that was high but the magazine looked like it was high quality and splice responded to my inquiry confirming his series with Eugenia was included. Then when I got to the actual purchase screen the shipping had jumped to 45 and the total purchase price to 79 pounds. Ridiculous for a magazine. I don't care how luxurious the magazine might be.
Hi Jeff, on that purchase screen select United States for your country and the shipping costs should go back down to £15 again. Not the best designed shopping cart they have there.
D.J. I did select U.S.A. That's when it gave me 15 for shipping but when I got to the final pay page it had gone way up. Are you saying I need to RE-SELECT U.S.A. for shipping when I get to the end and put in my payment information?
Yeah, on the page where you enter your card number you have to re-select USA for your country under Billing Details and then the delivery charge goes down to £15.
Failing that, if you have Paypal, you can work something out with me if you like. I could send it to you via Royal Mail.
Thanks D.J. I think I'll pass on the magazine. If it was a hard bound 'coffee table' book I might have paid their high price. Additionally, not seeing it before purchase also makes me nervous. Who knows what the images of Eugenia look like, how many there are or what size the images are. When I purchased her large photos and the painting I knew exactly what I was getting. This is too iffy for me. Thanks for your offer though.
I went to the site, and 79 is the total charge, which I imagine is over $100. Anyway, when you click on shipping to US, the cost is only 5.50 lbs. But the shipping costs, once you go to checkout, zoom it up to the 79. As I said, shipping to and from europe is expensive. You can contact them and ask them if they have plans to sell the item in the states, or you could ask Splice if they will be giving him copies to sell and autograph. Maybe the price can be reduced that way.
As a seller on ebay, I knew it would be expensive. Are you sure that final price wasn't in US dollars? It sounds strange that you would be quoted one price and then charged another, so I wouldn't be surprised to find that final price is in US money. Now, if the mag is imported to the US and sold in bookstores here, the price will drastically reduce. Might ask Splice if that is a possiblility.
We are the publishers of the luxury erotic magazine, The Quite Delightful Project, that Splice Photography's images are published in and which is being discussed in the thread above.
I shall try to answer everyone's questions:
Firstly, the images of Eugenia - the exceptionally beautiful images I might add - have been given a full 24 pages within the magazine, which is particularly indulgent and it is quite unusual to see essays of photography be given so much space within a publication.
A number of people have commented on the magazine's cover price and all I can say by way of a response is that this really isn't a typical magazine. For the £35.00 cover price you receive a 340 publication that is hand-finsihed and packaged within a protective slipcase. The magazine is also accompanied with a 36 page standalone monograph of a single photographer's work, and a 80 page pocket size booklet setting out the magazine team's own erotic confessions.
...a Limited Edition launch issue of the magazine - available for £45.00 - comes with a second 68 page standalone monograph.
The whole package weighs almost 3.5kg!
Only 1000 copies of the magazine are printed and it is only sold direct from its own website.

Finally, we must apologise, we had made a mistake with the product listing and two different shipping prices were appearing at point of purchase. The correct shipping price from the UK to the States is £15.00 - this has been corrected on the website - and is actually less than the price that we have to pay the couriers who ship the magazine for us. (The UK's Royal Mail would charge approx £40.00 to post a package of this weight to the US).
It might interest you to know that over 50% of The Quite Delightful Project's customers are in the US.
Many customers take to Twitter on receipt of the publication - @quitebriefly - and make very clear that even though the magazine is expensive, what they get delivered is so much more than they had expected for the price.
Anyway, all very best wishes everyone - and, Eugenia, thank you for appearing in our publication.

We have been in touch with Splice, the photographer, and he says that apart from a few of the images (not all of the images within the essay) which he has posted on his own Tumblr, the photographs have not been published in any other publication.
In The Quite Delightful Project magazine we generally publish original submissions which have not been published in other publications, or a far larger number of images from a shoot than the few images you might have seen posted on websites online.
Oh, well. Might have to consider purchasing.I say, old chap, in reading your posts, I have surmised that you may be from across the pond Am aI correct?

Don't blame you. Did consider buying myself, but have similar reservations.

Quite certain. £. Even in U.S. dollars I think 79 is high.
I wish there was a digital copy of it
It would be nice to have, but my question would be are the pics ones we already have.
That's what I'm thinking. I wouldn't want to open this thing up and find out there's nothing new inside.
79 pounds is $110.82

Hi Alice,
I'll vouch for £15 being good value for 3.5kg, There's no way I could send it to the States for that price.
My only question is are the photos exclusive to the magazine, or will we have seen or be seeing them elsewhere? Thanks.
Hi DJMax
We have been in touch with Splice, the photographer, and he says that apart from a few of the images (not all of the images within the essay) which he has posted on his own Tumblr, the photographs have not been published in any other publication.

Thank you for the answer, Alice. Much appreciated.

You are correct. I hail from the country of orderly queues.
And every inch a gentleman, I daresay.
You are too generous to this scoundrel.
My copy of the book has just arrived: I've just had a quick look at it, and it seems very professional and well made (and very heavy!)
Hey, very nice
Looks very nice. How many photos of her in the magazine?
There are 12 photos, on 24 pages
Thanks.
