I was wondering myself. I was surprised to hear that any more were supposed to be coming. She hasn't worked for them in ages unless they came to the U.S. to photgraph her. They can't have many more of her images in their archives, if any at all.
It would be awesome if they were new shots from L.A., but of course it's bound to be those ancient sets Met hoards, taken when flintknapping was still a cool hobby.
I reckon they still have reserves. Nine have been released so far at 39 Megapixels, and when you compare that to the number at 12 MP and 21 MP, I would think more must follow.
Turns out you're right Jeff. I was reading through the comments at Met-art for the last set (some of them very ignorant) and the Content Manager from Met wrote that they only have a few sets left:
I honestly can't say I disagree with you. I had so many requests for Jenya in the past weeks and all I have are a few sets remaining. I did warn the members requesting further sets of Jenya that what I have in my database, were not her best. However I hope that I can fulfill some wishes today, I hate to disappoint anyone when I receive specific requests :)
Feel like I need to roll up the carpet and pack my bags :(
Well D.J. that's a 'bummer'. I guess, at this point, "not her best" is better than nothing. I'm surprised that they admitted all this. Except that they probably didn't want to piss off long time customers who were Jenya fans and decided to come clean with the information.
At times there were complaints, here, about the lack of creativity of the photographers she worked with there at Met. Maybe she was looking for a 'new spark' too and that's why she left there. splice and Grosjean sure have been more creative. I just wish she'd work more with them. I enjoy their stuff more than Playboy's.
I'd really like to see her work with the photographers that Lidia Savoderova uses. That beauty works with some very creative guys and EACH photo looks different and so does she. Some of her stuff is stunning.
I believe the reason she quit working for Met-Art is because she got married and moved to America. Secondly, she may have felt that moving here and playing her cards right might bring her dream of appearing in the American Playboy to reality. However, there is nothing preventing some enterprising photographer from shooting here here and submitting those photographs to Met-Art, unless,of course, that is something she has no further interest in.
At least Met acknowledged they only have a few sets left, which wasn't too hard to figure out anyway.
What I would like to see happen is that Leonardo (or whatever name he was using} would find some "lost" footage from the "Fountain" movie and photosets, AND some of the other really good ones, and re-release those with added material. When you watch the "Fountain" movie, it is obvious that it could be edtied to a greater erotic status than it already is.
the idiots at Playboy are the ones who get me.. Look at anything they have done with her that has included other women. She is 30, they are younger, but in everyone of those outtings, she is the one who stands out, not the others. Playboy can't seem to understand the opportunity they are missing. Go figure.
I had high hopes her performance for PlayboyTV was the beginning of a new episode in her erotic career, but they have all but vanished. She moved so wonderfully and the scene was possessed of such erotic tension, that I can't fathom why it ended there. She has an amazing gift, and it is just being ignored.
Sets? So, you mean there will be more than one? Sweet.
Will they be shaken or stirred?
That was so awfully bad, that it made me laugh :)
Glad to hear new sets are coming. The last one was in October, and I'm not quite sure how one is expected to survive such prolonged impoverishment?
Question will be if they are 'new' new sets or, sessions from time gone by. I'm guessing it's the latter...would love to be proven wrong though!
Any clue when the sets will be published?
You;d have to ask Bond--James Bond.
No. They just told me they had sets still but no firm date yet.
So since Met-Art sets have no firm date, does anyone know what happened to her new Playboy stuff? How long are we gonna wait?
Oh, not long, not long...
Great stuff D.J. Also, sad but true.
Are Met-art thinking of releasing these sets in our lifetime, or are these for future generations only?

BECAUSE THEY ARE IDIOTS!
She quit Met-Art? Dammit. So, I have no reason to follow Met-Art anymore. Too bad to hear that.
I am fed up with waiting so long. There is no news from both Met-Art and Playboy.
