Ah yes, that's right. As I recall, others on Anothersite were expressing concerns that her exact apartment location was getting a bit too specific, and then the site when dark shortly thereafter.

Thanks to the strange phenomenon of tourists taking pictures of McDonald's restaurants worldwide, we can deduce that the following 3 pics were taken at the McDonald's in Yalta.

The above coordinates were for two buildings in Kiev that were visible from Jenya's balcony used for several photoshoots.

Yes, I myself had some misgivings. Possibly it was intrusive.
Since then I have discovered where many more Met sets were shot. The majority are in Yalta. This is where Voronin must be based.
Re. forums, I think it was the thenudeboard, and before that I think it was dumpstersluts.
He put a lot of work into those images, it's impressive.
