They're great. I'm ordering 2 of the child with the snowman's head for my daughters for Christmas. I contacted her thru her art web site and she responded within 24 hours.
100 a plate including shipping. I thought it was cheap considering she replied that she would sign them. It may be an introductory price. As this 'business' builds for her I'm sure they'll sell for more money. They're going to go like 'Hotcakes'. I'm also guessing that shipping will be more for an overseas destination.
Reading her posting it sounds as though she doesn't want to reproduce the plates. That's too bad, because if she did and lowered her price she would soon be a very rich woman. You know, like Thomas Kincade, Norman Rockwell, Andy Warhol, etc.
I thought that !00.00 was very cheap for an original piece of art, whether it was on canvas or a plate. I don't know where you can purchase original art signed by the artist for such a small investment. Maybe I feel that way because of her modeling career. Thus her signature and the knowledge that it is an original piece is more important to me than someone who likes the art but knows nothing about her. However, in the initial stages of this venture it's probably in her best interest to keep the value of those pieces by not mass producing them. At least until, hopefully, that value skyrockets.
Actuallly, I think that price is resaonable becuase if she keeps doing this she may end up very famous and this art work may become very collectible, I was just commenting on how many artists make their livings by reating the original work and then make profit by selling prints, etc..

I think she has found her niche with these plates. These should make her a millionaire. How much is she asking, Jeff, if you don't mind sharing?
