One can just imagine a sly little grin, and the fingers articulately collapsing upon one another with a hint of playful chaos, just beneath the surface.....or perhaps it's only Myself who envisions this followed by a gleeful giggle of cutely conveyed madness as she saunters off with an upbeat, yet sillily expressive body language as she heads off into the shadows. It made Me smile when I saw the images in My mind after reading her words, lol

She has commented in interviews that she can be a terror to work with when she doesn't feel things are going right. However, that's how a lot of perfectionists are. They do not settle for the mundane or sloppy. As you can see, it shows in her work.

Indeed, many have a perfectionistic outlook, inclusive of Myself as well as many others....as some of our parents used to say along with various others, if you're gonna do something, do it right, there's no point in half assing it. I imagine she can be quite serious when dealing with her professional agendas, and life, but also has something inside she reserves for away from work where she's capable of being serious when necessary, but prefers to joke around, and have a few laughs when possible.

Oh, yes! In the near future I plan to post some photos of her depicting just that. You can tell she's a down to earth person who doesn't take life too seriously. She likes to laugh and have fun. Our webmaster was lucky enough to have a short interview with her a few months back. Do a search for I_Love_Her (our webmaster) and you will probably find it there somewhere. Or try Jenya interview or some such search. By fun I don't mean going out and getting drunk--I mean "fun" in general no matter the situation.

precisely how it should be, honestly. One need not indulge in external disinhibitors as long as they are themselves. Always best to be one's self. As I've often been one to tell people, I am Myself always, pretty much the same here as in person, and if you like Me, cool, if you don't cool, no worries. I figure it's not something that's going to drastically impact My life if someone doesn't like Me, and with 6-7 billion people on the planet, 10-20 on the negative isn't much of an issue when there are millions of others just "waiting around the corner" to meet Myself, and others. Never worry, take things in stride, and be yourself no matter who you encounter.

Fascinating comment she left. "зимующие раки" refers to wintering crayfish. During winter, they burrow into the mud and become inactive. But there's also some Russian phrase, "я тебе покажу, где раки зимуют" (I'll show you where the crayfish winter). According to this, harvesting winter crayfish was an unpleasant task a lord gave to his serf.

Interesting.  I thought the line was funny when I read it, but it's even funnier now that you've fleshed it out for us! So working with her is akin to a serf being ordered to dive into wintry waters to retrieve a desired morsel of food. Thanks for the educating post. Yes, this, I think is a part of her sense of humor. She is making a tongue-in-cheek joke about the experience, though I suspect she was difficult when she found it necessary to be so. Are you from The Ukraine or parts nearby? How did you know that piece of cultural information?

I was just fortunate to happen on the proverb when I was searching for crayfish in Rusky. I'm not Ukrainian, though days go by I wish I were...
