Divorced

It appears she is divorced now. Doesn't seems to have been acrimonious, but the reasons are unknown.

What the hell? How? They were looking so good together. Well, since she wasn't happy maybe it was the best. She is my favourite model and I always want to see her happy.

I saw the music video DJ. I suppose its addition to her Facebook at this time was symbolic.

Additionally,those of us who have followed her career for years would worship Jenya and do everything possible to hold tight to our good fortune if we had a relationship with her. How he could screw that up is beyond me.

Just read an interesting thread on her Facebook. A running conversation between Jenya, Elena and Victor. It appears that although she thought had the 'perfect' man, in fact he failed to live up to her expectations. Not sure of the specifics of why it didn't work out.

She appears to be in fairly good spirits. Even trying to reassure her friends that she is 'grounded' and has the support of friends close by. She has kept the dog. She's deliberating on whether she will stay in the US or move home but is staying for now. I get the sense there is a certain level of comfort in LA. Probably because of friends who are giving her comfort.

I hope she comes thru this experience an even stronger person. She says she is a "free girl".

I agree DJ. Maybe it had to do with her sparsity of NEW photo shoots. She has said that she loved her modeling career and yet she had done virtually nothing since her marriage. Also, in a past interview she said she would never stand for a controlling man. Maybe he pressured her to quit modeling and she balked at ending a career she loved.

Then there is the question of him coming back from Europe and she's gone. He went without her? Why would he go without her? Is he nuts?

You're correct. I'm sure there is a good reason.

It could be many things, and I don't want to be too quick to apportion blame here without knowing the facts. But I do know this, if it happened to me, I wouldn't just roll over and sigh, "Oh well!" (which appears to be what he's saying).

This is Jenya's own words from her Facebook today. Apparently her modeling or lack of it over the past year or so had nothing to do with any difficulty in her marriage as I had previously speculated.

"My husband never reproach me, not banning me. I will say even more, he really liked my photos, and he was not against the likes of photo shoots. For a year and three months our family life, I voluntarily did not do any erotic imagery. And it was exclusively my choice and my desire."

I have no idea what this means for any future modeling.
