COSMID REDO Hidden A-Jen-Da 04-25-14

I took a few of the new pics and re-did them. The first pic begins with the original, the 2nd removes the backlight, the 3rd adjusts her skin tone, and the 4th is just because I like black and white. On the last two pics I did not include the original.

For some reason, the photographer gave her skin this orangeish tint. When humans have orange skin it's because they have jaundice or drink way too much carrot juice. You know that's where flamingos get their feather color from right?  I don't know if it's pure carrot juice they feed them or a concoction thereof, but that's why their feathers have color instead of being all white. Anyway, perhaps the color explains why one of our members thought she looked tired. If you think my alterations are better, that's nice; if you don't, oh, well.

Happy viewing.

I wonder how will the other sets on Cosmid will be. Also the resolution was so low compared to Met-Art ones.

jenmyluv - thanks for all your devoted efforts to adding fresh content to the site.  It is most appreciated.

You are on the right track regarding flamingos but a bit off.  The reason falmingos turn pink is that they eat small shrimp....lots of them...not carrot juice :)

It is the beta carotene in the brine shrimp that causes the flamingos to turn pink. Same ingedient as in carrot juice but I've never seen a flamingo belly up to a juice bar and order a tall glass of carrot juice.

Keep up the great work.

Now wait a miinute, wait a minute. I said I didn't know if it was carrot jucie or some concoction thereof. I was thnking of a zoo setting where the keepers feed them in part a liquid diet for the purpose of bringing out the colors.  Somewhere back in my mind, I think I did know about the shrimp. I used to work for a company in Florida that is not a zoo but owns one. Anyway, thanks for the info. Any chance you'll ever get to do another Jenya interview?
